Installing FreeGuide on Debian

Note: FreeGuide has been dropped from Debian because we don't have a package maintainer. If you'd like to help, please ContactUs.

To install FreeGuide, got to the download page, choose the latest version number and then download the file whose name ends with ".deb".

To install, you may be able to double-click the downloaded .deb file, or you may need to open a terminal and type:

    sudo apt-get install xmltv

to get the stuff FreeGuide depends on, and then cd into the directory where you downloaded the .deb file and type:

    dpkg --install freeguide*.deb
