Installing FreeGuide on Arch Linux

ndowens has made a FreeGuide package for Arch Linux which you can download from here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2279

It is recommended to use a tool like yaourt or clyde to install the package so that it will handle installing any dependencies.

Once you have installed it, you can run FreeGuide by choosing it from the menu or alternatively by typing into a terminal:

freeguide

You'll now need to answer a few questions, and then you're ready to go.

If you use a proxy server (if you don't know, you probably don't), you'll need to read this page: ConfigureProxyOnLinux.

Get the very latest

If you'd like to download the very latest version of FreeGuide instead of using the one packaged by your distribution (not recommended), you can download various packages from the download page.
